Meet Your Principal

Shaykh Zahid Ally has been an educator for over 30 years. He spent seven years in Damascus, Syria, studying the Islamic sciences and earning ijazāt (authorizations) to teach Qur’an, Hadith, Fiqh, ‘Aqidah, and other disciplines. He taught at Sakinah Elementary School in Edmonton for more than 15 years and has been offering professional development workshops to principals and school administrators in the public school system for many years. In addition, he has been conducting youth workshops for over 15 years, dedicated to nurturing faith, character, and leadership in young people.
